The Science of Blockchain Conference 2024

The conference focuses on technical innovations in the blockchain ecosystem, and brings together researchers and practioners working in the space. We are interested in the application of cryptography, decentralized protocols, formal methods, and empirical analysis, to improving the security and scalability of blockchain deployments. We aim to foster collaboration among practitioners and researchers working on blockchain protocol development, cryptography, distributed systems, secure computing, crypto-economics, and economic risk analysis.

The conference is co-organized by IC3,    the Stanford Center for Blockchain Research (CBR),  and   UC Berkeley RDI.

Call for papers:   submission deadline Apr. 16, 2024 11:59pm PST.

Conference Dates:   Aug. 7 - 9, 2024.

Venue: Alfred Lerner Hall, Columbia University Map.

Registration: Attendance is free, but please register by June 7, 2024, if you plan to attend either in person or remotely.

Accommodations: Some hotels close by are The Aloft Harlem, The Belleclaire, The Lucerne Hotel, and The Arthouse Hotel NYC.

Attending remotely: The talks will be streamed live and the recordings will be made available after the conference.


Affiliated workshops

A number of workshops will take place before the main conference. Most workshops will take place at Cornell Tech in NYC.
